Have a kitchen and bath remodeling-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • What separates a kitchen and bath specialist from the local home center, and why do I need a kitchen designer?

Your kitchen or bath renovation will often be a large undertaking and one of the more costly investments in your home. Hiring Select Cabinetree will give you service, selection and a competency level that you will not find in a home center. You don’t want to spend all that time and money, and then not be happy with the result.

  • How much should I budget for a kitchen or bath project?

The budget is determined by the size, quality and complexity of the project. Remember that each project is tailored to meet your individual needs. At Select Cabinetree, we have cabinetry lines, countertop options and accessories to meet every budget. We can take care of everything from design to installation, or work with a builder that you select to complete your project. Ultimately, the budget will be determined by the selections you make for your project.

  • Is there any fee for a consultation?

No, there is not a fee for a consultation. We will measure your project space, create a design, complete a 3D rendering of your project and review the design with you, all free of charge. If you wish to take the design with you, we do request a design fee to protect our work. When you place your order with us the design fee is deducted from your order.

  • Who does the installation of the cabinetry?

We are capable of managing all aspects of a kitchen, bath or other interior room project. Our talented craftsmen have years of experience in quality residential updates. They can identify and address issues that arise in a typical remodeling. They are truly an important part of your successful remodeling project. However, the purchase of our installation services is never required. We are delighted to work with your builder, remodeling contractor, or the do-it-yourself homeowner.

  • How long does the actual project take?

The length of time your project will take depends upon the complexity of your project. A kitchen remodel of any size will include being without a kitchen for some period of time, so it is helpful to plan ahead. Having a temporary kitchen arrangement with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and even a temporary sink (if your project permits) is useful. A project can take 3-9 weeks from start to finish, although a typical kitchen remodel takes approximately 3-5 weeks.

  • Do you supply appliances?

We can guide you in the selection of appliances that will work best with your budget, space, and lifestyle. We do not, however, supply the appliances. We’re happy to refer you to suppliers, if needed.
